Membership Information

To apply for membership please continue on this page

Joining SERAG does not necessarily involve any commitment of time. Participation in our various projects and activities is always warmly welcomed, but entirely voluntary.

Aside from participating in bushcare tasks, what could I do to help SERAG?

A wide-ranging variety of tasks from website updating, assisting with library displays & events and writing grant applications to something as simple as baking a cake for morning tea can help SERAG achieve its aims. If you believe you have a skill or interest that may be of help to us in some way, please get in touch!

Contact a leader listed on the Calendar page to come and see for yourself if you will enjoy taking part in SERAG’s in-person bush care activities rehabilitating the Marine Park foreshores.

To become a member of SERAG Inc. a person must be supportive of the two goals outlined below, and complete the Group’s Application Form.

Applications for membership must be endorsed by the Committee and, if successful, a small membership fee is payable.

To become a member, a person must support SERAG Inc.'s two objectives:

  • Enhance the long-term ecological health of the Swan River Estuary A-Class Nature Reserves and adjacent river parks for the benefit of native flora and fauna, and for the enjoyment of current and future generations of the Perth Community.

  • Support the managing authorities and those organisations involved in the restoration of the natural environment of the Swan River Estuary.

By becoming a member, a person is expressing support for our objectives, and thereby strengthening our capacity to advocate on behalf of the Estuary and to attract vital funding for restoration work. These alone are great reasons to join!
